How to use the tally counter
- Press the + Count button or hit Space to add one (or your chosen step).
- Press − or ↓ to subtract if you over-counted.
- Reset returns the counter to zero; Undo reverses your last click.
- Use Set value… to jump straight to any number.
- Add extra named counters on the right for multi-item tracking.
FAQ
Will I lose my count if I close the tab?
No. Every change is saved instantly in your browser (local storage). Reopen the page later and your counts — main and multiple — are exactly where you left them.
Can I count by more than 1?
Yes. Pick a preset step (1, 2, 5, 10) or type any custom step up to 1,000,000. Every + click adds that amount.
Is there a sound when I count?
Yes — a soft tick plays on each count. You can turn it off anytime with the Click sound switch.
How do keyboard shortcuts work?
Space/↑ count up, ↓ counts down, R resets, F toggles fullscreen. Shortcuts pause while you type in a text field.
What is the target/goal for?
Enter a goal (e.g. 200 attendees) and a progress bar tracks your count toward it, celebrating when you hit 100%.
